After an amazing year our illustrious cricket club, The Emerald Hill Cricket Club ended with almost flawless results. All 3 teams finished on top of the ladder with the 1st’s and 3rd’s winning their grand final. During the season the club went very close to setting the record for the most amount of Presidents’ shouts when all 3 teams won on at least 6 ocassions.  

The new membership cards have now been printed and are available for pickup over the bar. The new point of sale system will go live on Monday the 2nd of September and then all members are free to pay their subs over the bar.

It’s been a long month at the club without the green so come down and help celebrate the re-opening of the green this Friday the 16th of August, at the St Kilda Sports Club with a free BBQ from 4pm. Members and guests welcome.

Lots going on at the club. The green is closed for a month for its annual rest and renewal. The clubhouse external works are well and truly underway with the new gutters being installed as we speak. The function room stage 1 renovations are due to be completed by the end of this week with the rendering going over the ugly old brickwork so come down and check it out.

To all Bowlers, Due to yearly scheduled maintenance the bowling green will be closed from the 15th of July to the 15th of August. The closure is vital to the on-going health of the green and will serve to give us the best possible playing surface over the summer months.
